    It would be a very interesting boxer vs. slugger fight. Also, Bivol would need to use some of his slugger skills and Beterbiev would need to utilize some of his boxing abilities.

    Here's to hoping the fight gets made.

    I wasn't expecting a stoppage from Bivol in this one as Salamov is huge for the weight, as you can see a tough guy, and Bivol is small for the weight.

    Lovely boxing display by Bivol again though. Salamov was just too ponderous and he couldn't deal with Bivol's speed, footwork and accuracy. To be fair, he did rev up in round 10 and 12 and was slinging hefty right hands over the top but pretty much all of them were blocked.

    Bivol has got into a rut of points wins in recent years but that also has something to do with him having fought a bunch of very tough and durable customers who are a lot bigger than him like Pascal, Joe Smith Jr., Chilemba and Salamov. Imagine how destructive he'd be down at 168 against fighters his own size and especially given how it's a barren wasteland full of binmen and cadavers.

    bivol should fight beterbiev next in my opinion i think he clowns him and wins 10-2 11-1 hes just 2 good of a pure boxer

    I would live to see Bivol vs Beterbiev as would most but due to being with different promotions I just don't see it happening anytime soon. I do believe that we will see Bivol vs Zurdo on DAZN in the spring providing Zurdo takes care of business next week.

    How do you guys see Zurdo vs Bivol playing out? I think Zurdo is a very very live underdog.

    Bivol looked really ****en good today. I'm a big Beterbiev fan and I'm not sure Beterbiev can beat him, especially at this stage of his career.

    I must have been watching on delay, or something. I ended up falling asleep after the first nine rounds of Bivol vs Salamov anyway. Bad RBR for me all around.

    But based off of those nine rounds, I would predict Bivol to defeat Beterbiev.
