Barrett does this a lot in fights, boxes near perfectly for the first few rounds with lots of explosive movements but if you want cardio like that for 12 rounds you gotta go to Conor Benn's doctor.

Even if Barrett loses this, he's gone up in my estimation. Maybe the Kiko fight was a better indicator of him improvement than I thought at the time.

Barrett seems to be slowing down and Rakhimov is starting to win rounds more consistently.

Rakhimov looks like a heavy handed guy, but he doesn't have good punching technique.

Pat Barrett, Zelfa’s uncle. He also trains Lyndon Arthur and Sunny Edwards.

Is it just me who saw that Barrett was quite weak on his legs in the last minute of the round there? He looked like he was hurt there but somehow poker faced it very well.

Whose idea was it to put 9 fights before the main event?

Bivol and Ramirez probably started yawning in their locker rooms. They will be sleepy during the fight.

    Round 1 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 2 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 3 Barrett 10-8
    Round 4 Barrett 10-9
    Round 5 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 6 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 7 Barrett 10-9
    Round 8 Rakhimov 10-9
Round 9 Rakhimov wins by KO

Shavkat taking his time, landing more one twos and solid shot to the body. Barrett seems to be wilting a little. Barrett lands a decent left hook. Shavkat backs him to the ropes, loops in a few lefts. Hard one two rocks him back, he's wobbling all over the place. Either his leg is gone, or he's rocked. Shavkat sees it and is teeing off, Barrett down in a heap in the corner, he barely makes it back up. He's back up. Shavkat going for the kill. Towels comes in, Nelson not seeing it, Shavkat drops him again, Nelson waves it.
