Leonard couldn't finish a 50-year-old shot Hagler with severe alopecia, osteopenia, boxer's kidney and gout. ...****ing feather-fisted ****.
"Defeated"? Nice,Addie.Just lost massive respect for you.Hagler was fighting what, once every 1-1/2 years with how many more fights?Shame on you.Leonard knew EXACTLY what he was doing.****ing ducking Hagler.
If you watched Hagler for the 4 years leading up to the fight, you would have known that Marvin's reflexes, handspeed and footspeed were gone at that point. And if you had followed Leonard's bull**** for the 6+ years leading into that situation, then you would have known that Leonard ducked the **** out of Hagler until he knew Hagler was shot. This isn't about p4p.It's about Leonard's credibility with the Hagler situation. It's ****ing ****.
Ali wasn't ko'd.The fight was stopped because he couldn't defend himself anymore.Actually,he really couldn't defend himself at all.But he was NOT knocked out.
Hagler definitely had slowed down. He was generally a solid defensive fighter with effective head movement and parrying skills but slow Roldan was tagging him with frequency. Mugabi landed his share of good shots and Leonard said that seeing Hagler look bad gave him motivation to fight him. Leonard was past his best too. He was a smaller fighter who hadn't fought in 3 years and his stamina wasn't the same.
But he wasn't nearly as shot or shopworn. And judging by this contri,it seems you already know that.:good
:-(Absolute **** contri.****ing ****.Hagler beat Hearns because he still had his chin and power, but no reflexes or hand and footspeed.Tommy simply didn't have enough to keep Marvin off of him. It's that simple. And quite honestly,Marvin looked like **** against Mugabi.****.More evidence:Tommy beat Martillo far more convincingly than Marvin did.I didn't forget ANYTHING.
