I think most American Kids these days are turning to Basketball/Football/Etc.

I think we are slowly starting to see the end of the line.

I think if an American fighter wins overseas the fans will (particularly in Germany and England) hold him in high regard. Steve Cunningham beat Marco Huck in Germany he said the fans were very appreciative of his performance. They stopped him in the streets and were generally very nice to him. Lamon Brewster was similarly appreciated there after defeating Krasniqi in '05. I've also heard that American fighters say on a number of occasions that the British fight fans are great as well.

 

Of course, only nuthuggers actually think UK fighters are great. :nut
Most are average. It might just be that Hispanics and Blacks are better fighters on average.

 

That may be, but it certainly isn't shifting to the UK.

 

There will be new fighters like Gary Russell Jr. to take over the reins.

Especially the Pinoys are stepping up lately.
