Do Any Floyd Fans Believe He Shouldn't Fight Cotto?

    I mean, really-if he is to beat Hatton who else would he fight?

    Im getting the feeling that if he doesnt fight Cotto, there will be Floyd fans here who defend his decision. Lets get it out there right now. I would like to know who of you will back this decision.

    Cotto is obviously the second best welter out there, is undefeated, and is in his prime. This is a superfight, to me it would be the most meaningful of his career. Far more meaningful than DLH. This is a legacy fight AND a big money fight for Floyd.

    Does anyone see it any differently?

    I want to see it. But I'd prefer to see Mosley-Cotto 2 first.

    If Mayweather beats Hatton and continues to fight, the ONLY fight out there for him is Cotto.

    Dont give me some bull**** about him needing to fight some other guy, Cotto is the only fight after Hatton that will do ANYTHING for his legacy.

    There's no fight I'd rather see in boxing more than PBF-Cotto.

    But I think Cotto will fight DLH next in May 08'.

    Hopefully there's enough money in the pot after that if Cotto wins that Floyd and Arum will stop acting like babies and work together.

    PBF - Cotto after hatton. Yes sir!

    I'm convinced after watching Cotto - Mosley that PBF can beat Cotto.

    After Margarito's performance a Mayweather/Margarito fight would probably stir up quite a bit of interest...not as much as Cotto/Mayweather but I think it would be an acceptable fight while Mosley and Cotto are rematching.
