I believe he can be competitive against most of them. I think Toney gives him the hardest fight of those listed.

Yes but let's keep in mind, many of the boxers listed were gigantic for the MW division.

Who would you bet money on he beats??

I say not a single one of them and he loses to the majority of them by knockout

I think he would have been competitive, beating those names is another thing.

    Hagler-yes his chin gets tested
Roy Jones- in his prime beats him
    Duran-beats Duran
Bernard- Hopkins out thinks him but has a rough start like first 4-5 rounds
Sugar Ray- it's a toss up
Toney- toney is probably the 2nd hardest fight for GGG outside of prime roy
Hearns- I think GGG beats hearns for some reason I think Hagler beats GGG though
Joe C. - could win but my money would be on GGG

Just my opinion not all will agree but yeah. That's fcking life

    Competitive? Yes, absolutely.

As @N17 pointed out, winning is another thing.

I'd have a few things a little different myself of course, but very good analysis.

Just for interest, since you are a good poster, this is how I see it:

    Hagler: could go either way
Roy Jones Jr: toughest fight, can't see GGG winning
    Duran: Think GGG wins
Hopkins: Tough stylistic challenge but I feel that GGG was perhaps better than the 160 lb version of Hopkins. At higher weights, Hopkins by UD.
SRR: very hard to compare people so far apart in time, rather not comment.
Toney: second hardest fight, pick Toney
Hearns: Agree, I feel GGG wins
Joe C.: Close fight, 50/50 IMHO. Maybe prime GGG can get enough KDs to win or a KO, I don't know.

Im shocked so many posters feel that ggg can take Hearn's power

What about GGG against the Hawk Julian Jackson. I say 3rd round KO

L Hagler - Competitive but clear victory by Hagler
L Jones Jr - Wide UD
    W Duran - KO
W Hopkins - just, this is probably close to a 50:50 fight
W Robinson - pretty even fight
    L Toney
    W Hearns - KO
L Calzaghe - we haven't seen how Golovkin looks at 168 which makes this even more difficult to assess
    ..whilst we're at it..
    L Monzon

We agree on all but Hagler lol, and Hopkins I know Hopkins will figure him out only thing is will it be soon enough or will he have given up too many rounds.
