One reason I don't go to many shows is because the undercards are generally awful, filled with prospect vs journeyman matches.

Prospect W PTS 6 Journeyman (snoozer)
Prospect W PTS 4 Journeyman (gift)

    :zzz

I went to the Jamie Moore vs Michele Piccirillo fight in March 09, and actually fell asleep watching the undercard, it was that bad. Luckily the ring announcer was loud enough to wake me up as the fighters on the main event entered the arena.

It was also the one time I got to watch Darren Sutherland live :-(

The Froch vs Dirrell undercard was known to be so bad that me and the other ESB'ers I met during the day decided to just have a few beers and enter the arena at the last minute.

If you haven't got tickets yet, then you will have to hurry up - all the cheap tickets are sold out, which has hampered my plans of going.

I went to a couple of shows last year, but it is costly. I travelled up to London for a show and it cost me £120 in total, and I won tickets to the show! I try and get to most local shows if I can, but there isn't many here at all.

I can't afford tickets, let alone air fare to vegas.

Only been to one pro show but where Im from we have 2 pro boxers and 1 of them headlines maybe twice a year in my city so i make an effort to go along.

However, I go to most amatuer boxing nights normally if im boxing or some of my mates from the gym but i always make an effort to watch some boxing. Also wherever I am i always try and make an effort to find a boxing gym and just get in and train and see whats going on in it.

I've been to MSG for an ice hockey match between the Rangers/Jersey Devils 20yrs ago, fantastic night & the nearest you'll get stateside to a UK soccer crowd.

I'll be in New York in june for the Boxing writers award dinner the night before Cotto fights at MSG & i've been told that the new MSG is even better than before, can't what to expeareance the atmosphere, my mates went last year & said it's ****in awesome inside:D the only downer about new york for me is the $$$ **** hotel room prices:yikes

I use to go alot especially to the Forum,Pond and Olympic back in the late 80s 90s and early 00s. The fight scene has dwindled a little out here in LA compared to before although you stiill have the occasional big fights at Staples and are showing up and comers at the NOkia.

I saw Barrera,Marquez,Too sharp and many more fighters come up as prospects at the Forum during its heydey. Probably been to over 20 to 30 fights there.

Use to also go Vegas alot too but financially i dont do it no more like i use too Last fight i had been to in vegas was the Quartey -Vargas fight and the month before that the best ive ever seen which was the Barrera-Morales I.
Last fight ive been too in the LA area was the Forbes-Delahoya fight a couple years ago.
Almost made it too the Vitlali-Arreola but had a prior commitment.

I go to local cards in Oz sometimes but I do it like in clusters.

Like Ill go to 4 or 5 in a 6 month period then wont go to any for ages...I havent been to one in a while because the ones that have been down the road from me are on the nights I work.

We havent had many big fights in Oz lately and I had to work on the Green-RJJ fight night aswell...When I had payTV I literally bought every PPV they had on, even if they were shite.
