Do anybody have GGG payper-view buyers numbers from Kell Brooke?

It was a free fight to the US boxing fans. UK ppv numbers are always high over there because the price is low and they support their fighters no matter what. Kell Brooke could fight me next weekend and sell out the stadium. What are GGG's numbers here where he's the "superstar"?

 

He's had one PPV in the states, sold 157K.

 

His PPV debut against Lemieux didn't do well in 2015. But he's becoming more popular with each fight. His last PPV with Brook did 500,000 and that was very impressive. That figure surpassed a lot of Anthony Joshua's fights, and Kell Brook is not huge in the U.K. Before he fought GG, he was only on one other PPV with a stacked card, and the numbers were poor. But his fight with GG has given both fighters a huge push. I imagine that Brook-Spence will be PPV, with good support on strong card. The U.K. fans would also love GG to return at some point.

 

The figures were still very impressive.

Brook can sell out arenas like in his hometown of Sheffield, but before GG, he wasn't a PPV fighter.

What source do you (Or the other idiots) have for the 97K? Virtually every article will show at least 157K for the Lemieux fight.

Brook was hardly a draw in the UK.

 

How is he not a draw in the UK? He sells out every time he fights and done 400-500k PPV's. How many fighters active now have sold that many for an event? Not many at all.

 

What fights of Brook have been on PPV in the UK? Got any numbers? Not that I have doubts, just curious about the actual details.

 

Brook's only been on two PPV's as the headliner to my knowledge

BARB has figures for the Gavin ppv as 139,000, and vs GGG 400-500k depends on where you read

Brook's profile since the GGG fight, and Khan malarky has gone up a lot. I will expect his fight vs Spence to be big numbers and also sell out the 30k stadium they will fight in.

 

Thanks! I saw those numbers for the 3G fight, but not Gavin. I hope it sells well. It's too good of a fight to get little attention or exposure.

 

It would be great if GGG came back over to the UK to defend his straps.
He would be well supported.
