Liston, Tyson, and Foreman were all hard hitters. Camacho Sr. wasn't, although he had decent power in his younger days. Actually I don't know if he was looked upon as a "thug", but he was one.
Maybe Tyson isnt the best example, but I think his power is overrated due to his image, especially as he declined I dont think his power was as great as made out.
well you know that has to do with his popularity. just like some casual fans think ali is the best fighter ever.
Tyson lacked the freakishly heavy-hands of Foreman, but he had better technique, leverage, and speed, so you saw him more often do more damage with a single shot or one quick combo than you did Foreman.
