Well he did know about ricardo lopez, ray leonard getting ko'd by camacho and ali losing to norton. although most of them are well known to anyone that has a sligt interest in the sport.
By hte way i know for sure that ray leonard did watch a lot of ALi when it came to trash talk and mindgames.

Stylewise and with the persona he should love leonard, but we all know why he hates him.

if the fighters aint watchin it themselves please beleive theyre trainers are doing it.

but it kinda makes no sence as to why good boxers wouldnt watch tapes of other boxers.

    think about it.

so you think some of these fighters come out of the womb with ingrained knowledge?

being a pro athlete its best to watch others before you and in some cases your opponents/competition.

I had a trainer before, a pro, that was a boxing historian, but typically pros know shockingly little about other Fighters and boxing history.

pacman is too good of a fighter to not watch others.

theres no way you can be that great and rarely watch other fights. it makes no sence.

hes not just a philipino athlete thats in great shape and just knows how to throw acurate punches.

he has to be watching either other greats or his opponents.

why do you think he sits ringside at some fights.

A lot of big boxers give off in interviews that they are not fans of the sport and do have not watched old fighters, but you see in other interviews the same boxers showing that they have stuided the sport.

The good ones do. Its very important to know the history of the sport and its evolution.
