If Wlad was british limeys would say he's the best and most exciting champion ever. After fury outwrestled and knocked out Cunningham with his forearm , brits said that was a good win for tyson. Brits honestly believe fury would beat Wlad, they are most delusional sports fans.
If Fury can manage to tighten up his defence enough to avoid getting knocked out (or knocked down several times) by Haye, he'll outpoint him easily. I want that to happen, but I don't think Fury has the defensive skills to avoid Haye's quickness and power. Perhaps if Fury fights Haye like he did KJ, rather than how he fought Cunningham, he can stay on the outside and Haye will be reduced to ambush tactics like in the Wlad fight.
Haye is slick as a mofo, that's one big reason why I like watching him fight so much. He'll be making Tyson miss a lot, but he made Wlad miss a lot too and still lost by a huge margin. Now I know Fury isn't Wlad, but he has high output for such a big guy, and if he can keep Haye on the outside with his jab like he did KJ, Haye might have trouble getting to him. Haye's punch output is low, but he sets up counters a lot, and I'm afraid we'll see Fury get hit with a big one at some point in the fight.
I would say most Brits don't think Fury is good. I'm one who does think he is good and will be the next great heavyweight. We will see who is right in time. I have a question do Yanks really think Wilder is good?
go watch fury vs cunningham . fury is a glass jawed , slow , awkward, LOW-skilled boxer. It was painful to watch. Haye will spark him within 6 .
Fury would knock Wilder out and he stands a good chance of beating Haye. You underestimate Furys skills
If Wilder landed his right hand one Wach it would have no effect on him, same with Vitali, Vlad, Fury, Arreola, etc. Wilder would not be able to land a punch on Jennings..............
I don't think they do. The smart ones realise however that he is a young, game, active fighter who at least tries to walk the walk, unlike another British heavyweight. He is also an improving fighter and is genuinely charismatic so he will get support even though most would rightly bet against him v Wlad, Haye, Vitali, etc I for one am hoping that somehow he beats Haye into retirement once and for all.
Most Brits do NOT think Fury is good. Most think that Haye will KO him quite easy. I think he's probably better than most give him credit for, because he's still an improving fighter. The real mystery is why do so many Brits still believe in David Haye, a fighter who should really be the laughingstock of the division ?
You asked two different questions, one in the thread title and a different one in the OP. The answers are 1. Yes. 2. No.
