Yeah, that's what I'm saying. He didn't shave his head bald and get that physique for no reason. All these tragedies that have befallen Cotton, yet he still has enough in the tank to compete at this level. That's true enlightenment, not the **** we see in Kung Fu movies.
Honestly, the whole "Chi" thing... in practicality it works but is horribly misunderstood. By "works" I mean, the exercises - physical and mental - for that kind of stuff are good training for actual biomechanics. That is, using leverage naturally and building good intuitive control of fine motor mechanics. The whole "flowing water/energy" thing circulating to your fist, and the old maxim of old school boxing trainers to punch "like your wringing out a dishrag" are at their core the same thing. Empirically speaking, old school Chinese martial training techniques can work. Obviously the rationale behind them with any mystic mumbo jumbo is off-base. What the Chinese did manage to do though, is figure out a way to abstract difficult and subtle body movements into into a mental visualization that can be used to help a person get a "feel" for how to move and hit harder. tldr: Forgetting "mystic" ****, visualizing energy or water moving through your body and through your fist is a pretty decent mental image to use for training to hit people harder.
Maybe, Guerrero blasted Honorio with a straight left and stopped him in the first round right after his wife was diagnosed with Cancer. Not even Molina or Orozco KO'd him when they fought him later. Although that may just have been from rage.
No, Cotto actually learn the technique at the laundromat, down the street from Widcard, from the monks who frequently wash there. Cotto traded age old Rican street washing secrets in return for finding ones inner energy, "chi"
Talking about spirit/life energy, bro. Two completely different things. It takes a master of life to harness the powah of spirit energy.
That was no chi, that was simply a punch from the man with the strongest punch in the world. If Wilder became a monk, find enlightenment and mastered his life energy, he'd be a literal God.. :deal Martinez on the other hand claimed he felt something strange. The impact of that one particular punch was so great that it broke Martinez's knee's and shook his whole body. I've never seen someone harness their life energy like Cotto has. It's simply a thing to behold.[/quote] ^is MVC/Scott Gilfoid This content is protected
Ok I lost you at street washing secrets. What is street washing (is it similar to street sweeping)? And why is it a secret?
