I'm a Brit and although I like Jimmy Lennon Jr too I have to concede that Buffer is the best. Somebody should slap his little brother though.

I'm not really sure how someone can be good or bad really, as all they're doing is reading from a card, but I definetly prefer Buffer.

Unlike others, he brings a true main event feel to a fight. Hearing "Leeeet's get ready to RUUUUUMMMMBBLLLEEEE!!!!!!!!!" is a megafight, you know? Big fights just wouldn't feel the same without him.

I hate big fights that dont have Buffer....Jimmy Lennon Jr just doesnt cut it. Plus, Buffer doesnt repeat the last names of fighters...I know its traditional, but its annoying. Everyone knows who the main event fighters are.

Buffer is far from the best he makes too many mistakes At a card in Ft Worth Tx a few years ago He welcomed everyone to a night of professional WRESTLING lol Then when introducing the main event he called Paulie Ayala the WBA HEAVYWEIGHT champion rofl
Jimmy Lennon Jr and Mark Beiro leve Buffer in their dust They are professionals

I think it's a waste of money by european and asian promoters to hire him to announce main events.

He is undoubtedly the best. Lennon is second best. British MCs are disgraceful to say the least.

Peter North/Buffer is the don no doubts!

Perma Tan/ Perma Catch Phrase Awesome....

    'His record... a perfect one'.

    Love the Buff.

NB - He also has an aura of sleaze/corruption/smarminess/arrogance about him that feels 'right'

He's the best, you know it's a big fight when he's in town. By the way the british M.C's are total pants.

yeah he's the best. everyone makes mistakes, buffer should not be condemned for that.

seriously you know it's a super fight when he does em'. (well maybe not allll the time but you get what i mean).

the adrendaline really starts flowin' when he's doing the whole announcement thing while the big stars are staring across the ring at each other... then the "let's get ready toooo ruuuummbbblleeeeee!!!!" just sends everyone ****en bonkers. really sets the mood.

and i guess it's part of the human mental thing of familiarity. you just know what to expect when you tune in. it's like some midget taking over larry merchant's role at the last minute in the big fight. it would be disappointing... err well maybe midget is kinda true about merchant but seriously who hates marchant and his smug cheeky questions?

(im from the Land Down Under)
