So dominating the ducked and undefeated WW champion Berto, dosn't put Ortiz in the category as an elite fighter in his weight class?????

Mayweather deaded that nonsense. He even schooled Ortiz out of a Philly Shell.

Pac is a dead man walking... "Dead Man Walking!"

Cotto ducked Berto and moved to 154, but as far as who ducked Berto he was the WW champ, ad the elite fighters in the division like Margarito, Cotto, Manny wouldn't even mumble his name before Ortiz expsed him, you gonna act like people weren't saying, Berto was a threat to both Pac and Floyd.

99.9% of orthodox boxers have trouble with southpaws, and it's probably over-exaggerated on here that Mayweather has horrid times with them. What I do know, Pacquiao would give Mayweather more problems than Ortiz did, and it's not because he is a southpaw...he's just plain and simple on a different level.

He doesn't have the reach nor size to impose his will on Floyd, Mayweather was sharp, throwing combo's and on his way to Ko'ing Ortiz, before the incident, I don't see how Manny could deal with that.

Like I said, Pacquiao would cause Mayweather more problems than Ortiz did? You disagree?

I'm not talking about who would win, I am stating that even though both Ortiz and Pacquiao are southpaws, they are very different southpaws, and you can argue that Pacquiao's biggest strength is not that he is a southpaw.

Nope his activity is his biggest strength, is being able to overwhelm his opponents with punches and accumulation,he doesn't fight in traditional Southpaw stance, Manny fights squared up in the peek-a-boo style, just a sitting duck to jabs, and straight right counters, with Manny's lunging style combined with seeing Floyd has retained his speed, the PacMan poses no threat, Only a big man thats able to impose their will on lil Floyd will beat him, that is not Manny

Floyd was having trouble with Ortiz and I honestly think thats exactly why he did what he did he found himself a way out and wrongfully was awareded a stoppage.

Cortez after the fight says he called time in, what do you think Joe is going to say..... his job is on the line at that moment

Never once did I hear him call time in nor instruct the fighters to box

Log off man. You boy got his ass whipped last night. He was walked down backed up beat up and busted up. PBF had him so frustrated that he had to headbutt him just to hit him

Completely disagree. Pacquiao is not disheartened easy, it will take more than an accumulation of jabs and straight rights to deter him. Good signs that Mayweather is throwing fast combos again because he will need them against Manny.

This, people act like everytime Floyd gets caught with a punch or 2 he's hurt, Floyd was styling on Ortiz, throwing combo's walking while walking him down, buckling hiim at will, Ortiz would have probably had 2 rounds max left in him, but the opportunity presented itself for Floyd to end it early, and he knocked Ortiz lights out.

It would of never happened if Ortiz wasn't constantly trying to over the top rabbit punches butt, why do people think Mayweather grabbed Ortiz head with 2 hands a couple seconds before the butt, is because he knew what Ortiz was tying to do, he ended the fight, not because he was scared or worried but because Ortiz was being dirty.

He dose better against orthodox boxers than he dose against southpaw boxers. The thing is that this can be said of pretty much any boxer.

If your looking for an X-factor, an acallies heel or a ***** in the armor of Mayweather. What ever issues Mayweather has with southpaws is not it.

All you have to do is start moving your feet, and boxing, and Manny loses all technique, and start showing clear disdain and frustration with whats going on, just look at the Marquez, Cotto, Parts of the Marg fight where he was using his jab, and Mosley fight.

Do people really analyze fights here.
