Do fighters get to choose what brand gloves they want for fight night?

am i correct in saying the glove manufacters can tailor the gloves to the fighters too? for example if fighter A has problem with his left knuckle then they put more padding there?? am i correct in saying that???

i remmeber joe is now VERY comfortable wearin grant gloves as he says they protect his hands more i am sure they make them specially for him?
