Maybe so, but taking on De La Hoya and Hatton and winning convincingly both times shows he's got serious skills. If he fights Cotto and wins, as I expect, then there can be no criticism of him. He'll have beaten the best at 147, having already done the same at lower weights.

Every fighter that floyd fought since mitchell was a champion:deal

But yeah your right he does only care about money, fortunatly after the oscar fight the only one that makes serious money for pbf would be cotto so floyd will fight him

what else is there , Pro boxing is too dangerous a sport to fight just to be fighting..

If your trying to piggy back off the thread of Arum is offering Floyd 20 mill to fight cotto , then you should believe everything you read ..

Floyd and Arum are in a heated Law suite, Still believe the fight will be done after they get this bull**** out of the way ..

conflict of interest , what do you think will happen if forbes beat Oscar ?? My guess people be asking for floyd to fight Forbes more then likely .

Forbes can make oscar look bad even if Oscar win and that with out Roger help .. with rogers help it could be worse.

Yes, you are indeed correct. It's clearly indicated by the fact he's won 6 championships at 5 different weight classes.

People will only be satisfied with PBF when they see him carried out of the ring on a stretcher.

I'm not one of the huge PBF fan boys, anybody could tell you that. Find one post of mine (other than this one of course:lol: ) in a thread arguing about Floyd.

But honestly, do you think he even needs a trainer?? Or would it matter who it was?? One thing I've noticed is that Roger don't ever have to say much instruction wise to Floyd, more of a motivational man if anything at all. And if you pay attention, if Floyd really has a question he turns and quietly asks Ellerby.

Yep people like PJ won't be happy until he losses. He could fight Cotto tomorrow and win and he still wouldn't be satisfied.:-(

This is what happens when superstar athlete's are so good they get bored with their profession. The competitive edge that lives within them is so unsatisfied it seeks out new challenges to conquer. Roy Jones Jr. started rapping, and then gained 35 pounds to fight at heavyweight. Michael Jordan started playing baseball etc...

i don't care who he fights as long as he doesn't claim to be the best.if you consider yourself to be the best then prove it.it's alot easier to look impressive against hatton with a wingspan of aboput 10 inches.or a fading oscar wo has been even less interested in boxing than floyd.there looms deep waters and dark nights for floyd throughout the division.maybe he can get through them maybe he can't.but for anyone to think he could get past them due to past fights is ridiculous.he hasn't been fighting bums exactly but he has been avoiding the type of fighters who pose the biggest threats.
