I think Fury likes Wilder, or maybe not likes (who knows?), but respects. Wilder, I feel like past that tough-guy persona is a deeply insecure man who can't comprehend how he was defeated by Fury and holds disdain towards him. Even before Fury beat him, I still feel as though Wilder saw himself as a God incapable of being second best. He lacks charisma and just comes across as empty-headed which is the opposite of Fury. ^ That is all speculation of course and it could be total and utter BS. Just how I see it.
big time. Hated how he treated sparring partners Hated his contracts Hated his camps and how he talked down to him Hated how he was never himself I could go on. Wlad still can’t stand that loss and has gritted teeth over fury’s amazing comeback
I would say Fury is probably more annoyed than anything. Real hate usually exists between two real rivals, and this is the most one-sided rivalry I have ever seen. Wilder may very well hate Fury now. It is tough to have your train derailed.
because wlads ego is huge. if wilder beat him wlad looks worse. And that’s the truth and by support , he meant he just wanted fury to get the W, in no way was he supporting fury like he would AJ
I'm (obviously) a fan of Wlad but can definitely see why Fury dislikes him. I don't think he is necessarily the smart humble peoples champion like the image he often portrayed (the same is definitely true of Joshua). Wlad wouldn't even comment or give Fury props after he beat Wilder. All he posted on Twitter after the fight: This content is protected
wlad used to bully Richard towers but always brought him back for every camp, it was like he just enjoyed bullying him. lights out 8pm, up at 4am, wlad eats first, don’t speak to wlad until after 6am etc
I have a pic of camp rules somewhere, il try find it. THEY WRE RIDICULOUS like training with Beyoncé, wlad the big diva
see above also the antics in the build up to the fight, gloves, ring etc David Haye got totally done over by wlad, look at where they made him walk out, in the middle of German fans hitting him, throwing things etc wlad was very underhanded
Sam Sexton, an aspiring contender from Norfolk, had also made the trip to test his skills against the division's dominant king, only to be left with a painful memento. "He broke Sexton's nose," recalled Whyte. "I said 'nah. Woah, you're not knocking me out. I'm coming"I went in there and started roughing him up and having a proper fight with him. I got sent home for that." A glimpse into how sparring partners were treated by wlad
