I believe on his latest show Jim Lampley claimed that Hayman had 133 fighters signed to his company. About twenty of those are A type names most people have heard of. The rest seem to be contenders or prospects. Even if he just made one good fight a year for each of the top guys I'd be satisfied, but so far it's pretty dismal and he's only getting more control of the sport all the time.

so he had 100 fighters and only made 5 good fights,ok hearn has about 20 fighters and made way more good fights than that

    Im being serious this time.

WHICH PART OF "Considering he didnt have a 1/4 of the fighters he has now" DONT YOU UNDERSTAND?

Is it the math you find difficult or the English?

Im guessing 100 of the guys under his management joined from late 2013 onwards

name the fighters that he had at the start of 2014 so, lets see if there is only 1/4?

by your math he must have had roughly 30 fighters

and even at that using your numbers how do you go from having 30ish fighters to 133 fighters yet the number of of decent fight you put on plummets ?

You want me to name 30 guys?

    Do it yourself.

Tell you what, you name the fighter and Ill tell you when he joined. Im not doing all the work.

Hes signed about 10 guys since the start of THIS year!

Some guys have been sent in that path, but Broner who is rebuilding after a loss and Mayweather is fighting top guys all the time. Garcia had been fighting good fighters but since Herrera, who is arguably a so called cherry pick, he has been fighting weaker opposition in the likes of Salka when really he is good enough to be fighting anybody at his weight as he beats them all

At the start it was like if you were with haymon you'd get the easy fights for big money and have the judges on your side but then he just started signing everyone he can't have everyone's best interests. He's messed up too with all the blocked fights I mean he's been absolute **** this year.

Those are the guys, I know joined in 2014 or later.

The rest either joined earlier, or I simply have no idea who they are.

The fact that I dont know who they are would imply, they are young and probably joined recently and certainly wouldn't be involved in big fights in 2013!

going by the fighters you named he had near 80 fighters in 2013, hardly a quarter

Like I said, a lot of those guys are young fighters, who may well have joined in 2014.

I just have no idea about them.

They certainly wouldnt have been involved in big fights in 2013!

then why say random figures like 'a quarter' if you have no idea?

and hearn has about 1/5 of the fighters that haymon has and puts on better fights

    He does??

Name one fight he put on better than Garcia-Matthyse?

    Or bigger than Mayweather-Canelo?

  15. trollhunter

    trollhunter Guest

yup he does, unlike you i actually can quote accurate figures:lol:

Hearn has 30ish boxers, Haymon has 130 plus, roughly heading towards 1/5

so two fights were talking about quantity of good fights, don't lose focus

many people put on Mayweather vs Canelo, when you have the biggest p4p fighter in boxing then his going to be in big fights

eg Froch vs Groves, 1&2, Burns vs Crawford, Brook vs Porter,Froch vs Kessler,Froch vs Bute,

the fact your trying to compare Haymon with Hearn a guy with 1/5 of the stable shows how bad he is

if you have 130 plus guys signed with you you basically have to be signing a fight contract every day to have them out fight 2-3 times a year, its madness he is obviously going to do a terrible job with the majority of them eg Deverychenko
