Do I need to condition BEFORE I start training?

    Go in there and have fun. A lot of people wanting to lose weight/get in shape see the whole process as something that is not enjoyable. If you enjoy it, you'll stick to it with a healthy attitude and get in shape fast. Some gyms run fitness circuits a few nights a week, if you find a good gym they will teach you a few things along the way as well. Just don't be fooled by the words 'boxing gym' or 'boxing trainer'. Find a proper gym with experiences people who will care and take the time for you.

    If your wanting to also do boxing for the technical side of it then make sure you don't rush into things, learn properly and try not to learn any bad habits early on.
