good marketing strategy to sell his fight with ortiz..

floydie boy pretends again by making pronouncements to fight pacquiao to increase sellability of his fight against ortiz..:nut

that's all there is to it..:deal

let's wait until his fight with ortiz(if he wins in modest to great fashion) is done and let's see if he will still be singing the same tune...:hey

How can the Floyd/Pac fight ever happen?

Floyd partners with Golden Boy and HBO

Pac is with Top Rank and Showtime

There's a lot of negotiations that need to take place, not to mention feuds, lawsuits, weight penalties, blood testing, aging fighters, etc etc etc.

    This fight is dead.

...you forgot what Roger said, "It would be crazy for Floyd to go in the ring with Pacquiao."

Unlike Manny, the man came out and directly addressed the situation on multiple levels. He addressed the drug testing and why he saw it as important, he addressed his dissappointment with HBO for not stepping up to make the fight happen, he addressed his desire to have the fight, he laid it out as real as it could be laid out...Manny hasn't done any of that. The point is simple, the man addressed the issue and placed the ball squarely in Manny's court, he can take it or leave it.

bob arum is a snake. its amazing how people believe every word that old man says. u think arum wants his #1 cash cow facing mayweather, hell no. he wants to milk manny for every penny he is worth. he is hoping floyd loses a step before manny faces him, like they did with mosley. roach and co were afraid of mosley. mosley begged for the fight and roach said no way, u r too good, his words. there is a reason why this fight hasnt happened, yet.

This means nothing as this is all talk. I can say I'm going in a time machine to fight prime George Foreman does that mean I'll do it?(Ignore that time machines don't exist...yet) Written contracts from both will show us they're serious about facing each other but I realized Pac/May won't happen ever a long time. Both are behaving like spoiled princesses and have been cherrypicking lately but needless to say Mayweather has been doing that for about several years now(Pacquiao since post-Clottey, Mayweather since post-Castillo).

When has Manny directly addressed the issue and taken this kind of stance/position on it? It's comical to me that some of you ignore what Floyd said directly, and assume what Manny would say, then use this to shape your position.

I may be a ******* but I have more ***** friends than Pac's and during the Berto Ortiz fight everyone one of them are saying Floyd would fight the winner and it did happen. Every boxing fans know Floyd was just waiting for the right opponent to come out of vacation. Of course he wishes Berto would be his next opponent but **** happens. Now he's twisting this whole Ortiz fight as a preparation for PAC but in reality it's just a money-making fight and off again to retirement after :patsch

Even if your dumb enough to think tests up to the fight will make pac unable to fight its not true.

He has no other option. He's been called a coward by ESPN and the whole world know he ducked pacquaio. Time to man up and face the fighter of the decade. I see that 1L coming soon

Floyd said it plain and clear what the situation is and was. You guys can spin **** anyway you want to but we all heard the man and he wants to fight Pacquiao. Now Pac needs to quit making this **** fights and get in the ring with Floyd.

We never hear Pacquioa address the issue up front without being asked a certain question.

Nobody asked Floyd any questions he brought this up on his own and that speaks volumes!
