I agree completely that this is just talk and does not really signify a great deal. However, I believe a large number of people, many of whom are Pacquiao partisans, attempted to derive something significant from Floyd's refusal to mention Pacquiao's name and from Arum's rhetoric about doing everything possible to make the fight. Many of those same people though are now using the "just words" argument to dismiss Floyd's statement; at the very least it seems like a double standard (I'm not accusing you of this BTW, as I agree with pretty much all of your post).

Just about every interview he gets deals with pacquiao. He was fighting mosley and they were asking him about pacquaio. He has ran out of excuses. Time to fight pacquaio or stay retire.:deal

Floyd was basically begging HBO to demand the tests.

He stood up on live telecast and told the world that he WANTS Pacquaio. He gave his reasons for it, and they are understandable. Pac has yet to say publicly an understandable reason for NOT taking the tests.

lol, not going to happen.... Top Rank has playing chess with Floyd the WHOLE TIME... They've been waiting this long to make Floyd make the NEXT move.

Note every interview w/ Manny for the past year pertaining to Mayweather - He dont need to fight him to prove himself or his legacy, that Mayweather needs this fight, that Manny can retire w/o having to fight Mayweather.

They've been waiting for Mayweather to publicly come to Top Rank in order to get a solid upperhand in the negotiations. You've gotta be shitting me if Bob Arum will EVER let himself get outplayed or out-negotiated. He's the big whale in boxing - you negotiate on his terms or there isnt a fight...

:deal not ONE. The situation couldn't be clearer. The fight will happen will pacquiao stops being a ****** and agrees to take the tests that no other boxer has a problem with exept pacquiao. And the ***** can't even give a reasonable explanation. So don't blame floyd. It's pacquiao who doesn't want it

Floyd wants more money and is leveraging testing, imo.

He's also a control freak and has an entitlement complex.

Yet the whole damn board keeps saying it's Mayweather's fault the fight's not happening. It's clear as day you either fight on Arum's terms or you don't fight.

Then him not willing to negotiate with Pac about the drug testing shows he doesn't want it. 7-days is fair! :deal

First of all, that statement shows more interest in the fight than anything pac says. Pac never answers the question directly, says he dosent care, blah blah blah this and that for the fans. Pac dosent want it. What does pac do to show his desire to fight floyd? He files a lawsuit cuz floyd's words hurt his feelings.

    Second of all, GTFO nooob

Besides who gives a **** what this ***** says, he's mentioned names he's ducked before. I'll believe he's willing to fight Pac when I see it.
