He was also out for even a longer period of time (21 months) when he fought Marquez straight out of retirement as compared to only 13 months if he chose the winner of the Williams-Martinez fight, as he mentioned it, instead of Ortiz. So being inactive for a long period of time shouldn't be an issue, don't you think?
