Do Khan Fans Really Think Garcia's Victory Was Just a Fluke?

Nah. I said before the fight that Garcia would look to land left-hooks.

 

its not a lucky punch as hes been knocked out like that before, khan is massivly overrated and believes his own **** he could have one against garcia without a problem, but made it difficult for himself and got sparked , and instead of using his speed and clinching he decided to get into a dog fight worst thing he could have done

 

It wasn't a lucky punch, Khan can beat Garcia if he avoids it all night, the odds however don't favour that happening, the only thing lucky about it is the fact Khan can't defend.

 

I wouldnt say it was a fluke. I would say that it was a consequence of Khan fighting stupid rather than Garcia being a particularly good fighter. I dont think Garcia will go on to do much at world level.

 

Khan made his own downfall, Garcia done what he had to do.

If Khan boxed this guy Garcia would look lost in there, Khan is too fast, but fought reckless and paid the price.

 

The counter wasn't a fluke, he landed the exact same punch against Morales a left hook counter over the right uppercut.

That said, it's easier for Khan to make adjustments, he could literally make it a very boring fight and just 1-2 from the outside all night and win the bout. Khan would be a favourite in a rematch.

Its kinda like Cotto-Margarito. Margo beat Cotto but I thought Cotto would beat Margarito fairly comfortably in a rematch, just change his tactics. He did but unfortunately it was a 1-eye Margarito without wraps, although I dont think it changed the outcome either way.

 

khan has no power the new training program clearly didn't work khan needs to get some real pop in his punches first to keep people honest.

Thats why garcia was able to do what he did he basically timed khan without fear of khans punches because of the lack of power.

Until his power improves same thing will happen they will walk through him and try to ko him that is basically the khan blueprint at the moment.

Khans biggest flaw isn't his chin at all it's his lack of punching power khan has never really properly stunned or ko'd anyone apart from that maidana body punch which maidana got up from anyway and the judah thing was more judah giving up than anything else tbh same goes for paulie really.

BUT for all we know garcia IS going to go on to be a real force in boxing the jury is still out really.

 

Sad to say but they honestly think it was a lucky shot, which is clearly not true...They just need to accept reality, Khan isnt that good!:-(

 

I think his speed and offensive ability is top notch and decent chin actually it's just his lack of power and defense imo as you could see he was landing his best punches at will against garcia but it didn't discourage garcia at all and as usual soon as he gets hit he hasn't a clue what to do doesn't even try to hold to clear his head or anything.

 

It was not a lucky punch, but Khan made it easy for him with his foolish tactics.

Garcia did what he did cause Khan threw the wrong punch (a right upper cut from an awkward angle I think) and he just got timed. Garcia made him (semi) miss and made him pay.

 

No. But I think Khan would do better in a rematch. At this point he probably still gets caught and stopped, but he would last a lot longer.
