Do Lewis' win over Tyson and Calzaghe's over RJJ hold any credibility?

hell it takes a special kind of character to want to beat up a 40 year old shot2**** fighter and pretend its worth something meaningful. You need to be a real tithead to do that, a wife beater cheater type. Froch and Ward wouldn't do this in their dreams in title fights, perhaps as exhibition fights though.

None. Both Tyson and Jones were completely shot.

If anything the fights provide proof that, prime for prime, Tyson would have beaten Lewis and Jones would have beaten Calzaghe, because Tyson and Jones won the first round.

Ah the classic Tyson-****. Focused Lewis schools Mike and everybody knows it. Mike would have been looking for a way out over midway through the fight.

Old man Holyfield for one, probably Toney, and him and Bryd would have been a good match.

Yes they have credibility, all four men were past their prime not just Tyson and Jones (although Tyson and Jones obviously moreso). Longevity definately contributes to greatness. They clearly don't mean the same as if they had been beaten in their prime, but their primes didn't overlap. Hypothetically I think prime Jones beats prime Calzaghe 9/10 times and prime Lewis beats prime Tyson 7/10 times.

Why cant I disagree with something Calzaghe said? You seem to have done so many times.
You havent even tried arguing anything else I wrote so you have absolutely no argument

    What an odd post.
I dont have to pick any answer to anything you write Herol, you are not very relevant, but I am once again trying to show kindness by giving you a small amount of time. I dont have to give an answer due to the points below.
Where has Calzaghe said his win is not credible once the fight was signed?
Where has Calzaghe said im a liar?

Think you will fail in both counts when you try, and I emphasize "try" and answer

You are correct not to give Herol time. I have been kind and given him time and it seems to encourage Herol, still this thread is last chance saloon and if there is nothing sensible he will become the first poster for me to put on ignore

    I have no argument?

    Look at the facts:

Roy was 9 weeks from his 40th birthday.

He hadn't won at the top level for 5 years.

He'd been destroyed four years earlier by Glen Johnson.

He was 3-3 in his last 6 fights.

He was knocked out in a round by Green just a year later.

Joe on three occasions had said he didn't want the fight, because Roy was finished.

    What more do you want?

Nobody would give Ward and Wilder any credit if they beat the current versions of Calzaghe and Lewis.
    They'd get far more ridicule.

Why do you think wards team called out Calzaghe then?
    Edit

If J Nelson comes back to fight Huck. I bet even though Nelson will be late 40s there will be an interest in a top retired CW champ coming back to fight a current champ

That was a response to Joe after he said he would of beaten Ward. It wasn't a call out.

Huck would destroy Nelson and part of his reputation with it.
