..if so, they are deluded. Gamboa is so much faster than Junama, its not funny. Homeboy is gonna be staring at his eyelids...

I think it's stupid to say one will definitely beat the other. I favour Lopez to knock him out myself but the fight is a toss up.

fight can go either way. Juanma seems more disciplined then Gamboa. But Gamboa look incredible last night. Juanma would fight an entirely different fight.

Of course he can:lol: Gamboa might be faster and a better boxer but he has a suspect chin and lopez is a puncher. Gamboa isn't actually known for his defense so i expect lopez to connect quite a few power shots that will put gamboa to sleep. :D

Salido and Barros has no problem finding Gamboa's chin, JuanMa is no slower than them. He isn't Rigondeaux, he's not a defensive wizard. He's more like Khan who relies on his great speed.

Lopez has a very good chance.... Have you seen his right hook? :scaredas:

that + Gamboa's open defense would equal KO

however Lopez has a leaky defense too

All I know is, someone is getting KTFO :thumbsup

Lopez has been seriously hurt. Gamboa has not. Who has the better defense and chin now?

Last night I was very impress with Gamboa footwork,I see this fight being like Hopkins vs Tito....its a clear picture Juan would need a KO thats the only way he wins.

From what I've seen, Gamboa has been more protected and fighting lesser opposition, I like Lopez in this fight. Gamboa looks good, of course, fighting over matched opponents.

I favor Gamboa but with someone as aggressive and powerful and Lopez, you can't count him out or look away for a second.

I find it funny that people think that one can beat the othed based on a performance against Solis. Its just like saying JML will beat Gamboa because he destroyed Concepcion. The fight in reality will go down as to who gets who first and who can stay disciplined.

    They both have suspect defense...

Gamboa relies wayyyy to much on his speed and timing. Which is why he kept on getting knocked down by no names. Sometimes he will try to force a counter punch that isn't there by using his speed, this won't always work against top comp...

Lopez defense is OK when he is trying to box. But it is very easy to lure Lopez into a slugging match. And his defense sucks when he is slugging, he doesn't have the head movement IMO

If Lopez tries to slug with Gamboa he will get KTFO

If Gamboa gets overeager in trying to counter Lopez, he will get KTFO

I'm a Gamboa fan and saw an important improvement yesterday, but come on, it's still basically a 50/50 fight, Gamboa's defense is still not pefrect and JuanMa can be bothered by handspeed, and both have huge power, this could go either way.

When JuanMa breaks down and knocks out Salido people will open the same thread just the other way around: Do Gamboa fans honestly think he can beat JuanMa?

As long as they outperform each other it gets built up bigger and bigger, so I hope JuanMa pulls a Gamboa next time and ***** Arum finally makes it happen.
