do Manchester United fans root for, against (or indifrent) Ricky Hatton?

    I know that Ricky Hatton is a suportor of Manchester City the rivals of Manchester United. Wearing their colors on his trunks. How is he viewed by United fans who fallow boxing as well? Would someone from Manchester who is a united fan fell difrently than a United fan who is from some wear else in the world?

    Yeah, they need to share him because there is apparently only ONE Ricky Hatton.

    United fans support Ricky, he is man city supported, but a manchester fighter at the end of the day, and Hatton had Rooney carry his belts to ringside for him.

    I'm a Spurs fan (Tottenham for those that don't know) and me and all me mates mostly Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham fans all support Ricky Hatton..........Although he sold out the City of Manchester stadium versus Lazcano i think he would have sold well at most premiership football stadiums.

    PS. i'm praying we beat utd tomo :)

    Support him, in general. The football rivalry doesn't really come into it much.

    I support utd and dont mind hatton but hate his supporters hes good but theres no way he could have beat mayweather. I used to like hatton before he became a sky box office hit and fans started to crawl out from every hole.

    Everyone in England roots for Hatton.
