Did I say they fought Mosely at anything other than 147? No. I said they asked for 142, and he refused. They were then happy to fight him at 147 when he was completely done.

Marquez 'requested' a lower catchweight for the same reason he did vs Mayweather, because he is coming up a couple divisions so can't fight at the full 147. Why would the '140' fighter Pacquiao not just fight him at 140?

Margarito's fight before Pacquiao was at 154, for a 154 title. Bringing him down 3 lbs does not help him, it helps Pacquiao.

no he wasn't. they fought for a bs vacanct title. I don't recognise pac as a legitimate belt holder in that fight cos it was a bul**** title.
But there everywhere. Moralas got a title figting Cena. Randal Bailey and Jones fought for a title! There all bul**** now.

In terms of the fight, Margo was not fdrained, he was huge.

Pac is tiny, he comes in the ring no more than 150 on fight night. Some 130 fighters come to the ring at that weight. Margo weight nearly 168/170

It was very entertaining fight, where margo outweighed pac by 20 lbs+ not a chance he was weight drained.

Pac isnt a light middle, yet catchweight meant we got tho watch a fight that turned out to be very entertaining.

Marquez fought at 140 in his fight before and looked great, so it was only one weight class. Same as Manny against cotto.

    There exactly the same.

Manny had had one fight at welter, one at light welter, then he fought cotto.

Marquez had one at welter vs floyd, one at light welter against ramos. Then wanted Pac.

There exactly the same. Stop hating!

Is there anything other than facts in what I've said? No.

Pacquiao consistently tries to have fighters fight at catchweights in order to gain an advantage.

Freddie himself openly talks about it

It's not something you can argue, it's a tactic they use. End of.

    Will Manny fight Margarito?

Roach: It depends on how Margarito looks when he fights Shane of course, he's a big 147 pounder in his prime right now, I just don't think that's a great fight for us at this point, I thought Oscar was because of his age and his last couple of performances weren't that great.

On floyd: We're gonna have a little tension with the weight issue, I want to fight at a catchweight, I want to get him to work to get down in weight a little bit, Floyds a talented guy and if we can take something away from him we will

Straight quotes from the horses mouth. How can you deny any of this

i don't but manny had only just gone to 135 at the time. he was tiny. and there asking them about fighting all these welters cos he beat oscar. and the point was they could risk oscar cos he wasn't looking great. it would be like them asking somelike like Broner now if he'll fight Manny or floyd, and them saying maybe at a catchweight.

Now manny is a fully fledged welter, he will fight people at welter. But if someone wants a fight at a lower weight or a higher weight then they'll make a catch weight to even the playing field.

    Whats wrong with this!

No. The point is Freddie clearly said he wanted a catchweight to take something out of a fighter, so they have to work to get down in weight, and this is the reason he wanted Cotto at 145. And the reason for the other catchweight requests with Mosely and Margarito.

If you can't compete in a division fairly then leave it, simple.

For the record, Freddie is also clearly a cherrypicker, as he suggested Oscar was a good fight for them because he had looked poor in his last few performances, and he was old

And low and behold nearly every recent Pacquiao opponent has looked poor in their last few performances

    Double standards.

When Pac does hes almost labeled a criminal.

When others do it its fine and its the logical thing to do.

*****s and their biased ******ed logic.

Cotto and clottey both came off the fight against each other and both proved they were at a high level.

de lahoya looked good in his fight prior to manny, size differance also meant delahoy was a 4 to 1 favourite

Marquez came off a 3 fight win streak

Hatton came of 2 win street and looked incredible against malignaggi.

    Bradley was an undefeated fighter

Margo looked average but size differance made it compelling.

Mosley was a pile of shite but everyone thought it might be entertaining given mosleys ability to blow out come forward fighters.

againd the logic that pac fights crap fighters is again just not true. He has the momst packed resume of any fighter of the last 10 years and won fghter of the decade for a reason.
