Arum puts the options to Manny,
It will be a name along with a guarantee under each name, and an estimated total income.

    Manny picks one.

So Manny had 1 catch weight fight against Cotto to favor himself.
He had a catch weight fight against Margarito that only ever favored Margarito.
He had another catch weight fight with his WW belt on the line against JMM, again favoring JMM who btw outweighed him on fight night.

So he asked for 1 catch weight that favors himself and then suddenly, Pac is the catchweight king?

SRL had two catch weight fights that favors himself, he should be crowned king first before Pac.

Floyd is far worse for not honoring a catch weight against a fighter going up 2 divisions while he maintains his best weight.

floyd-marquez catchweight was scheduled earlier than pac-cotto so in essence, it was floyd who started this catchweight thing. catchweight is not a problem though, its when you blatantly ignore making the contracted weight, catchweight or not.

if Pacquiao has no trouble making 140 how would 144 favor Marquez and not Pacquiao, Pacquiao was a 147 champion and has looked better there than marquez at 144
