No, the difference is that Mayweather did'nt respect the contract weight limit, thus no weight drain.
......and Pacquiao according to himself, can still make 135 lbs!:deal

Prior to Shane-Margo fight, Freddie stated that Manny Pacquiao Believes He Can Beat Antonio Margarito.

*search the underlined words on yahoo for the link*

Roach disagrees but he said Manny wants the fight.

Do you really need help with this? Pac initiated 2 cw title fights, as did JMM. One gets 1000s of hate threads for it, the other not a peep. But it's not just Marquez, there's loads of cws that are worse than any Pac cw on principle: SRL Lalonde, Cotto Marg 2, PWill Sergio 2, DLH Hopkins.

How about an easier example, convince me that Ortiz Berto was a "better" cw than Pac Cotto.

:rofl:rofl:rofl Delahoya looked fine? Okay guy could barely throw a punch and was clearly winded by the second round. Thats your definition of fine? Get of Pac's nuts newb. It makes you sound like a dumbass.

I would have accepted 150. Which is where Oscar fought at when he fought Forbes. But the fact that Delahoya was forced to goe down 147 and obviously his body did not recover because he weighed 142 by fight night. That clearly goes against Pac.

He was talking about DLH looking fine against Forbes, genius.

So you'd have Pac go up 15lbs and DLH stay put, that'd be fair? You didn't know DLH was gonna rematch Floyd at 147, or you think he really wanted Forbes and gave him the cw to be fair? Then when Floyd fell through, he went looking for midgets like Hatton and Pac at welter to boost his flagging career.

And that goes against Pac? It goes against Oscar's stupid ass. Well we know he's no genius, but Schaefer supposedly is. How did he not see this humiliation coming when it was so obvious?

exactly as poster above said i meant the fight before manny against forbes. He looked fine against forbes. Declined yes. but not shot.

Theres a reason he was suposed to destroy Pac.

And i stand by my opinnion that oscar wasnt drained. He lwas walking around at 145/146 a week before the pac fight. They were training for speed.
Thats why he didn't weigh much.
The UV marks roach thoughtt he saw were probably from the drugs he was taking.
