Do MMA fans watch boxing?

what's that suppose to mean???...haha, I havn't decided who to put in my next avatar, I'm thinking Frank mir because everybody already has Nog as the winner and I might pick him in an avatar bet for the next UFC.

boxing was my first love but i like watching COMBAT. dont particularly care which style as long as its not based on scoring like karate, TKD etc.
what does annoy me though is when the hardcore boxing fans go on about how tyson/liston/dempsey etc would ko any mma fighter and all that crap.

Yes i watch boxing aswell. Probably more actually. MMA is not on as often, especially here in the UK.
Love both. Aswell as K-1, love it all.

 

I prefer boxing but I still participate in Kickboxing and jujitsu a few days a week I have a friend who used to coach amatuer boxing who really doesn't understand mma or the skill level.

2006 - 2007 I watched more MMA however since about mid 2007 Ive kind of fallen for Boxing again.

 

The question is, what were they watching before the ufc started?

 

I watch boxing and mma both class sports and have been wathcing them both most of my life.

 

mma has been going longer than that and ufc has been out for quite awhile now

I watch both sports. I watch more UFC than regular boxing. I usually just watch the big fights in boxing. I watch just about any ufc fights especially the PPV. I can't wait for UFC 92 - Big Nog vs Mir - Rampage Vs silva - Forrest vs Evans
