Bring back same day weigh in. This **** has run it's course and obviously failed.

You can thank the system in place which promotes this kind of behaviour. If it were same day weigh-ins most wouldn’t be doing this.

Does it really matter? Fans pay for fights to get entertained. The fighters know their side of their contract and bear ultimate responsibility for ensuring that they perform in optimum condition. You could ask if the fighter knows the hell a fan goes through to afford a ticket or a ppv fare. Right?

Most have no idea. A small percentage think they do, but it can only be experienced.

It is evident when posters say things like, "it is only a few pounds, what difference does that make?" ...... because the last few pounds are exponentially the hardest to lose.

Adesanya from UFC said he had to rub one out as a last resort to make weight.

I watched a piece, maybe ESPN or 60 Minutes, and it was crazy. Near death, basically. Often needing help climbing the stairs to get to the scale for the weigh-in. I think one of the females had to call an ambulance... I wonder about long-term damage with repetitive stress.

They don't have too so I feel no pity for them.
