Do most good boxers trounce pre-Zaire Foreman?

    But Foreman sure struggle putting Peralta away.

    He did put him away unlike Lyle & Bonavena who drew with Peralta. Did it late in the fight too.

    By stoppage, not a knockout, or even a knockdown I belive, been a while since I saw it.

    Absolutely he did! In fact, i can hardly think of a better period for him to come along, then to destroy a declining but undefeated Frazier (who matches up perfect with him), and Norton (who is an easy win for a big hitter but gives other boxers hell, raising the value of this win).

    This is resume dissection to benefit one point of view at it's most extreme. Foremans win over Frazier was as awesome a Heavyweight destruction as you'll ever see. I'm an admirer of Jersey Joes footwrk and movement but Foreman threw an insistant jab if e didn't just walk straight through you. His punches were devastating clus that would tear right through you, though my opinion will be discouted as by coincedence I am currently sporting a Foreman avatar :lol:
