Whyte is a good self promoter so part of me doesn't mind the ppv loot he gets. That said I'll be rooting for another Pov upper cut special on Saturday.

Just calculated ive saved £345 in ppv’s since May 2018. Thats not including the scheduled parker card.

Crazy the amount both bt and sly have fleeced off of people for mainly sub standard cards

Again though you are using the word integrity!!!

That was lost to pro boxing at least a century ago. Indeed, arguably since Figg founded the modern sport, it is never had it. It really never got past its shyster roots.

Pro wrestling was considered on the level until the early 20th century, so we are looking up to it.

But I do understand your point of boxing being still a majority sport.

And yet it does lack the control of pro wrestling, and because of this maybe could benefit from looking at the pro wrestling model as a way of going forward.

Not so much the sports-entertainment thing, but wrestlers being contracted (albeit controversially) to certain organisations and thus matches are easier to make.

This model would lead to certain fighters being unable to fight each other, and more control for promotions. That is down side that would need changing ideally. But boxing is unlikely to ever be a utopia.

Disgusting isn't it. Hearn and Smith are absolutely shameless though.

Errrr I won't be buying it but I've had a bet on it.. well the boxing and UFC in a combined accumulator.

I am calling this "The Magnificent 7".. I'm going large

    Boxing
Pfiefer to win by KO/TKO 1/2
Wardley to win by KO/TKO 1/9
Kongo to win by any method 3/10

    UFC
Luque to win by any method 2/5
O'Malley to win by any method 3/10
Ngannou to win by any method 8/11
Nurmagomedov to win by any method 4/9

    All together roughly 9/1, (8.8/1)

If you are gambling this weekend, please gamble responsibly.

I can't even muster the enthusiasm to watch this fight, let alone pay for it. I'll probably catch it on YouTube at some point though, if I hear that Whyte has been knocked out again.

The fact is, Sky subscribers have already paid for this fight with their subscriptions, paid for it again by watching all the adverts between rounds and in the breaks, and are being asked to pay for it a third time by forking out 20 quid.

    That just isn't right.

Also, has Dillian bothered training this time, or is he still a fat mess like he's been in his last few fights? Hopefully he's put in some effort for the loot he's getting. Again, I can't really be bothered to check.

I agree with the OP, we all need to stop supporting these subpar PPV cards and maybe we’ll get them on free to view.

I thought that Nurmagomedov was retired. Or is it another one?

We will see what he's like walking to the ring. Last time he looked all wobbly like he'd **** his pants.
