One last bout before Diaconu faces Dawson this summer, or, has we expect, Dawson would drop his belt in order to fight Tarver instead of facing his mandatory.

For you guys that never saw The Shark in action, there is no reason anymore to stay in the dark, Don King is offering the fight live and for free, BE THERE AND WATCH CLOSELY and don't blink to often. Because you might miss the bomb that will finish Henry early.

It's true, Tarver would be a much bigger money fight with more recognition, but, that's a bit coward avoiding dangerous Diaconu. If Dawson want's to regain some respect he lost last saturday, he has to face the winner of Diaconu - Henry and if he does, I will be the first to admit that Dawson is a real champion. But I have many doubts about what he will do.

Diaconu is in the best shape of his life with 123 rounds of sparring, no weight problems, huge motivation with his father very sick with cancer in the ringside. It sould be quick and clean like he did with Hoye last May, and then.............bring on the scary champ or hand the belt.

By the way, Glen Johnson will also be ringside for this one, maybe he's got plan to face the winner, or he has some tricks to give Diaconu in order to help him do the job against Dawson.

    Go Diaconu Go

To clarify, the fight will be aired on Donking.tv? What time does it start? Will he air the whole card?

It's in Romania, so it shouldn't conflict with the other fights.

    Sho Nuff.

I hope all goes well for Diaconu. I'm for the best fights being made...and the best fight to be made would be Dawson-Shark.

« Three additional bouts will be shown live from Romania. Undefeated Ion Ionut “Jo Jo” Dan (20-0, 11 KOs), from Romania will take on Argentinean veteran Raul Balbi (55-8-1, 38 KOs) in a North American Boxing Association 140-pound championship; undefeated Romanian prospect Viorel Simion (7-0, 3 KOs) tangles with Spanish battler Rudy Encarnacion (18-11-2, 8 KOs); and 2003 world junior champion Bogdan Dinu, from Romania, will make his professional debut against Stephane Tessier, from Canada. » ESB

JO JO DAN fights out of Montreal since 2004 and is a member of Interbox the same stable as Bute and Diaconu.

    Co-sign.......:yep

I love how people underrate Dawson....what I saw on saturday was a tough hard nosed veteran with underrated power showing us why he was once fighter of the year. Though it was clear where the talent lies...I worry about Dawson's tolerance but his heart, determination and fortitiude will always shine like the sun.

You should be proud of good men like Henry, from your home state, who never back out of a challenge!:good

Henry is still an unknown, he's never really fought anyone either. He didn't even attempt to step up until his last two fights, and that was to just fighting journeymen.

See, in America, we don't try to hype up every guy with a padded record of being an ATG. Henry hasn't proven a damn thing, just wish you guys would take the same approach with Diacnou.

I am having a laugh when I hype Diaconu and only do it to get under people's skin, because he's a bad style for Dawson and because Dawson is ducking him!;)

Yeah, he's ducking him because his mandatory is no better than a clubfighter who would give him the biggest payday of his life by far...who needs such great risk/reward when you can fight dangerous legends for much less money instead?:)
