    I think both fighters are trying to loose every single one of their fans. They probably have a millionaire's "Trading Places" bet on who could loose all of their fans the quickest.

    they are BOTH, at this stage in their respective careers, 100% about MAKING money. The fact that Mayweather does so overtly while De La Hoya sugarcoats it with claims of "saving the sport" does not make one's motive any different from the the other's.
