Ive been sitting quietly on the fence regarding this Saturdays' upcoming bout between Cotto and Margarito, I have finally come to the conclusion after weeks of pondering and trying to visualise how the fight pans out, The general consensus I beleive is correct Regarding who has the more Talent, Boxing ablility Lays in the ball court of Cotto, He does seem to be more rounded and ultra cool under fire, At first I thought Magarito would take this in a UD not by outboxing Cotto but rallying late and dropping Cotto gaining points via knockdowns, But in between I see Cottos speed and agility dictating the proceedings, I can also Visualise Cotto being more explosive in the earlier rounds, and it is not out of the question that he may stop a Brave Antonio on his feet, however if Cotto can stick regimentally to his game plan and literally box on the back foot whilst mixing it up (banging up and down to the head and body) then getting out of range I see him winning a wide UD this tactic is very difficult later on but he may well stay in the pocket in the early rounds, I do beleive Santos is a very Slick (underated champion) and he outboxed Magarito earlier on and has a underated power because he definitley buzzed Antonio in there even though he shook it off very quickly, As most of us know Magarito power is there through out the 12 rounds, the Punch output is going to be very high between the too, Look for magarito to throw about 80 powershot in round one, Cotto will have the upperhand in power earlier becuse he has that fast acceleration and is very good in getting into position after he releases his shots to set up his next shot, Cotto Guard will be high chin tucked in bobbing weaving, I get the impression when one is backed up to the ropes it will be magarito wailing away, Cotto will be aprehensive, but not overly, Look for Cotto to Pick his shots more better and conservely than magairto who will be just winging away trying to hit elbow arms anywhere that will cause damage, the only danger I see for cotto is round 10,11,12 this is where he must be very intelligent i predict a wide UD for Cotto, b4 I silently thought Magarito will Knock downCotto in Round 10,11, gain 4 points and win ud but i changed my opinion:hi:
