Do People Actually Believe Margarito Didn't Know...?!?!?!

But the problem with that is, if Margarito didn't know then, then he probably didn't know in the past either. Which begs the question, how many wins did he have with those loaded gloves? :think

Whatever the case, don't ****ing expect this thing to blow over just like that! It's going to remain over his head for the remainder of his career, and rightfully so. The guy's lucky to be boxing against the biggest star in boxing right now. So the continuous accusations is the least he deserves.

Good point. Seems like nobody "supposedly" knows what they're getting. Not to defend Margarito, I only admire the guy because of his chin, but aren't there sparring videos with him beating the **** out of Mora and dozens of other fighters? He wearing plaster there 2? People that have really laced them up know there's gauze besides the wrapping you put that on plus a tight fitting glove it's hard to tell or feel with all the cushion what you really have in there. For Pacman it's easy to say "Of course he knew." because Pacman puts his own wraps and gauze on. I'm a bigger fan of Pacman than I am Margarito, but I'd have to disagree with Pacman there. There might be countless other fighters that might of had the same **** and never knew they had it.

 

How can anyone be sure when the only two people that might know are Margarito and his trainer?

If you don't have all the information, there is no way you can absolutely say with 100% certainty that he did or didn't have loaded gloves. It's impossible.

It's very probable that he knew his gloves were loaded, but there is a small chance that he didn't know.

 

Its funny that when roach considered training margo he said he believed him. Now he doesn't. My iq is not low enough to believe him.

 

That Margarito cheated he cheated, there is no doubt about that. That he knew or didn't know that we don't know for sure. As for Capetillo using that as an advantage, I'm sure HE did know about it since he was the one doing the wrapping, not Margarito. I don't think the plaster is the main reason for Margarito's success, his chin and stamina are world class, but he has had first round knockdowns or knockouts where I don't think the plaster would of played that much of an important role. Remember, supposedly the plaster is best affective when the gauze itself absorbs and collects the sweat from the hands and hardens the plaster, making it affective in the later rounds, that's why flakes were supposedly found on the gauze. I agree with you obviously Capetillo knew and did it to enhance their chances to win, getting bigger paydays why else would he do it?

 

Well if Margarito knew, why would he be willing to have his hand wrapped under the gaze of a commissioner? Now im not saying he did'nt know, maybe he did, but the like the commissioner who probably okay'd it that time, and before, he probably thought it was insignificant as the pads were so small, that maybe he thought the trainer was just trying to protect his hands more of by having it there or something.

the story margo gave on 24-7 seemed believable

whether its true or not is up to speculation

apparently it was disguised as gauze and he wasnt told

since he had no time to ball a fist and throw a punch he didnt know
