Mosley even at 37-38 was still considered the most dangerous puncher at 147. Mosley landed bomb after bomb for 9 rounds, in another words it almost took the entire fight to get him out of there. He almost sparked Floyd in 2 and you telling me surviving 9 rounds of bombs from Mosley is not having a chin? Call Margarito a cheater, loser, journeyman, whatever, I don't care, but your blind if you think he doesn't have chin. The dude was in there with Williams, Cintron, Cotto, and finally Mosley dropped his ass. And he got stopped, not put to sleep like Hatton did. The dude has a chin.

The wraps were judged to be illegal so they were out of order. I have wondered what exactly the wraps were made from. The stories I've read was that something illegal fell from the wrap and Richardson saw it, some say it was plaster.

It doesn't seem to be extra wrapping and tape that some fighters illegally use to get an advantage. The thing that I can't see is how having lumps of plaster in the wraps would not damage Margo's hands.

I would like to know a bit more of what the wraps consisted of and how they were applied.

In your previous post you stated that the bricks aren't the main reason for Marg's success and it has to do also with his "world class" chin and stamina. Yet he got destroyed worse than anyone Mosley ever faced at 147lbs, because Mosley had no respect at all for Margarito's power and just unloaded a barrage of punches on Marg for 8 rounds. Which is ironic because in the Cotto fight, he had Cotto running away like his hands were made out of concrete. Fact is this guy would never have been a champion without his cement. Your avatar will haunt my dreams.

If Capetillo truly acted alone in this, which is preposterous, Tony would have sued the **** out of him for damaging his career and earning potential. An innocent fighter would not just let that sort of reckless career jeopardizing action slide. Has Mosley sued whoever was administering the injections he "didn't know were steroids"?

This is a good point, you got something with this angle. He just let Capetillo go, no harm no foul. Hmmm...

Shane tried to sue the guy from Balco, Conte, unsuccessfully.

    .

    True.
Margo didn't seem to have or shown any hard feelings towards the guy that damaged his reputation which almost ended his career.

I thought he was kind of a dick when they were placing the cement over his hands and taping it up in 24/7, especially because its common sense that he knew about it, so to me that was real lame making a joke out of intentionally trying to hurt his opponents through illegal means.

I think that brings up a point that i don't see talked about much. Margarito didn't look like his head was in the building for the shane fight. He looked like a guy that just got caught cheating. Stylewise this was a good match up for shane, but margarito looked like a kid that just got busted with drugs on him. I don't believe for a second that he didn't know what was up with his wraps. "i didn't know" lol. that is the excuse you give if you can't come up with something better. they shouldn't let him fight but oh well, Jerry Jones and Bob Arum had enough money and pull in texas to get this joke of a fight done.

I think it does matter. Any time a person is allowed to get away with such a terrible form of cheating it is bad for the sport. it would be even worse if people are dumb enough to start thinking that he didn't know he was cheating.

He got away with it? I am pretty indifferent on Margo, but over a year out of the ring during his prime isn't exactly nothing. It isn't like they were mixing up a batch of plaster and making casts of his fists. I don't think that it would be impossible for Margo to not have known... but maybe he did. Either way, he served his punishment just as if he did know.
