Do people believe gatti killed himself?

    Just watched a show fifth estate and i think he did it. Everybody says he's not that kinda person etc. I had a neigbour 4 years ago. Great guy. I chilled with him , dranks beers with him , talked everyday. He was a friend . Happy guy. Loved life and they found him in his basement. He hung himself. I didnt wanna believe it. I was shocked. He was normal. Had kids. Sometime people just dont know whats really going on in Somebodies head. Cause everybody cant believe he would do something like that, they jump right away to his wife.

    Gatti family needs to let this be and take it for what it is.

    I know a **** storm is coming but face it people.

    He killed himself

    His basement wasnt finished and he tie a rope around the wood frames in the ceiling , stood on a chair. Tied it around his neck and kicked the chair.

    Use your head man. He was my friend

    I don't try to play armchair psychologist and watch an athlete perform his craft and conclude his ability or inability to commit suicide, like too many people do.

    I look at the facts of the case, and well, the finding of suicide is questionable to say the least.

    Looking forward to seeing the 48 Hours segment on him.

    Gatti was bludgeoned in the back of the head to keep him unconscious while being choked to death with the straps of the wife's handbag.

    How could Gatti hit himself in the back of the head and choke himself to death while being unconscious?

    The documentary states that he was involved in a streetfight shortly before his death .. and he sustained a head wound as Gatti was attacked by several people and was hit by a rock and a bicycle , yes a bicycle .

    After the streetfight Gatti took a taxi back to where he was staying with his wife and infant son. The taxi driver was interviewed and mentioned having to clean up a lot of blood from the head rest and seat where Gatti had been sitting .

    A lot of people don't like hearing how a rich guy who had it all decides to kill himself but it happens ... we won't ever know the truth .

    Sorry mate. Wasn't trying to be funny. I never think about those things, too scary. Sad ****. it happens. Usually its the people u least expect when drugs not involved.

    One major flaw in your theory is that the handbag strap was proven to be too weak to suspend a man of his weight for a time long enough to kill him.

    I cab driver told police and was on the show i watch that night and said gatti was bleeding crom the back if the head when he drive him home.

    Its cool bro. Its was scarey. We watched hockey all the time and that we we were supossed to watch the leafs game
