Do people here still think GG beats Ward?

Dre fights on the inside very well, his tactics aren't great from a fan perspective. It's ugly, the tactics he employs are somewhat dirty but I can't be mad at Dre. I gotta be mad at the refs for allowing it. Smothering is a tactic people hate it but yeah it's allowed him to go 30-0. To be Ward you gotta have inside game. GGG does a lot of things well fighting on the inside is not one of them

 

Never thought GGG would beat Ward.
Ward is technically superior and has the inside game required to shut GGG down.

Taylor was far better and more accomplished than Jacobs and Hopkins didn't lose to him till he was 40 so thats a moot point. The second fight could have went to Hop anyway and he could have got the first as well if it hadn't it been for the cut.
At 38 Nard was still whooping speedy guys like Joppy and you don't need to be a huge hitter to hurt glass jawed Jacobs.

GGG was never fast in the first place and i have no interest in 3 round amateur fight he had against inexperienced little kids.
The man has had 37 easy fights against cream puffs. He is as fresh as a daisy with zero miles on his clock. He is in his absolute prime right now.
Hopkins and every other former MW in history whoops his ass if he is struggling to beat a non discriptor like Jacobs.
That fight doesn't say Jacobs beats greats , it says GGG doesn't beat greats.
Jacobs was the best guy he EVER fought. The benchmark for his talent does not go any higher than the average Jacobs.

My contention is this, it's automatically assumed that GGG would be the one cutting off the ring in a fight with Ward. I disagree with that in that I believe that Ward will back him up for the most part. As for inside work, I think that Wards inside game is better than GGG's. Actually I think that Ward is an all around better fighter than GGG and would beat him easily. I think that the Jacobs fight put GGG on notice that 168 is indeed a bridge too far and so is Ward period.

 

Exactly what's to be expected from such a useless little child...again, ONE SINGLE time fights didn't turn out exactly as I predicted.

I feel the Jacob's fight proved to ggg that size isn't going to be a problem. You're not finding anyone at 168 that's bigger than Jacob's was in fight night, nor are you going to find anyone with Jacobs speed and 1 punch ko power.

The simpletons are going the opposite way, the Jacob's fight, especially him coming in like a lhw comes in was the best thing to happen that night.

Taming Jacob's is harder than anyone at 168, how people can't see that for what it ended up being, this is beyond me.

That's the reason ggg is more than willing to move to 168 now more than ever before

 

I have never seen Jacobs exhibit one punch KO power and I surely didn't see him getting tamed by GGG. What I did see was Jacobs winning that fight with GGG and putting him on notice that the tomato can season is over. I also think that DeGale beats him at 168. GGG was happier than I have ever seen him to get that decision because in his heart he knew he lost. Now I am not gonna refer to you as a knucklehead because you have a different opinion. That is your right. I just happen to disagree with it.

Hops doesn't have the power, and going by your logic, he LOST TWICE to Taylor who is literally a 6 to 8 (8 being the absolute MAX) when fighting much lower level fighters and you're trying to tell me he's going to beat Jacob's who is FAR superior to Taylor in EVERY SINGLE facet of boxing.

Ggg is too great for you, so a very good competitive 12 round fight he clearly won is a chink in his greatness ??? Please, tell me ONE fighter who never ran in to a style and size that didn't make for a tough out, I'll wait for a troll ish response
