:smoke Wilder has already set the stage to vacate title... After Povetkin KTFO Perez... Wilder stated he thinks that Povetkin is juicing... When Povetkins promoter wins the bid... the fight will be in Russia most likely... Wilder will refuse and bring up the juicing as his reason... :yep
I've been arguing with his haters lately but It's really frustrating to see this from the "WBC World Heavyweight" champion.
Exactly, I stepped out on a limb and defended him before the Stiverne fight and predicted a win by him and the method he'd achieve it with, which I caught some flack for, but damn I was expecting a little more out of him as a champion than this.
Wilder is the highest-profile American heavyweight in a long time. All Americans want him to be the unified champ.
If he shows out to be as good as he says I'd still dislike him for not showing this supposed ability in his first 30 or so fights.
AnyONE with EYES to SEE, and with more than a CASUAL FANS knowledge of boxing can tell you Deee-On-Tay is fundamentally flawed as a fighter. He clearly has a glass jaw too. He has terrible balance, terrible footwork, terrible punching technique, he looks like a failed basketball player who took up boxing late. He is where is, because the WBC seems to be open to suitcases of cash. And/Or his handlers have a very close relationship with the right people. Thats it, pretty much. And lets see how long the WBC covers him from defending his title against someone in the top 20. Maybe another 2 fights. The WBC is dragging their title and reputation through the mud.
Let's say he fights 'real' opposition, would you then support him?[/quote] As long as he's with Haymon he won't be in tough fights....unless he has too, or is going up against other Haymon fighters. This any Haymon fighter though. That's how he operates. This content is protected
