Based on present WWs, maybe.

But lets not overrate Shane's puncing power. He threw enormous amount of punches to take Margo down. Hearn or Tito would have knock margo down with lesser shots.

 

Cintron moved up to JMW.

 

Mosley's left hook is a thing of beauty. That thing has KTFO written all over it when he throws. You can see he puts his whole body into the shot. He was able to KO Mayorga, Margarito, and Vargas with it.

 

It's funny because when he lands flush, his opponent's faces seem to crumble......literally. It is a thing of beauty. :good

 

Maybe you're right on that. There's no definitive way of proving otherwise unless both hits the hitting machine.

What's sure made Shane successful against Marg is the body shots which somehow loosen him up. Pls. don't discount also the fact that Cotto may have taken a toll on Margarito...

If he was a little tougher, was a little less spooked by Marg's ability to take his punches and could and kept it up he would've knocked Margo clean out.

Shame Cintron isn't more like Shane, he has freakish power.

In terms of being the 'better' puncher though, I'd say Mosley, he has more in his arsenal than Kermit. Cotto is not far from Mosley, I'm sure if he wouldn't have got disheartened, had kept his stamina up etc etc he could've stopped Margo.

I think Cotto will stop Margo if they fight.

Cintron is still the hardest hitting WW in the division. By this I mean one punch KO power. Shane KOed Marg with several shots.

 

no he isn't. He just hit Margarito flush about 100 times. Anyone will go if you hit them flush that often. Then he just finished him off with left hooks. It was awesome to be honest.
