Do people realize Deontay Wilder has won one fight in 4 years?

AJ`s arsenal was very limited last night, just the odd jab here and there and the odd right hand, nothing special, his hooks missed by a mile, Wilder finished Stiverne with a fast as hell 1-2.

TBF Fury's whole resume is decrepit old men and Wilder. Both Wilder and Fury have a lot to prove and very little time left to do it.

An exaggeration that's not very accurate. But regardless, everything you stated about Fury & Wilder you could apply to AJ too.

I mean AJ has specialized in beating name HWs around 40: Wlad, Pov, Pulev, and recently Helenius. Sure, he's faced and won over name fighters close to his age like Whyte & Parker. But Whyte & Parker aren't as accomplished on average as the four fighters I listed above, very much so for Wlad & Pov.

AJ is 4-3 last 7 yet Eddie and much of the Brit public (it has to be casuals), treat him like he still holds 3 belts  Against name fighters not decrepit old men (Pulev) he's 1-3. The lone win vs. a fatter than usual Ruiz, where AJ boxed carefully to get a decision. That's ONE quality win in FOUR years. His most recent wins are over fringe contender Franklin & decrepit old man Robert H. But he's active :shakehead:
I generally like AJ, much more than Wilder. But I think AJ has as much or more to prove than Fury or Wilder... like maybe fight Fury or Wilder, and sooner than later. Among most peoples top 4 AJ is the "kid" at 33, the rest 35-37. While 30s isn't as old as it was many decades ago, when and if AJ faces Fury or Wilder they'll all be mid-late 30s. Take your time guys

Cool. AJ should tell Eddie no more time-wasting tuneups, he wants Wilder next. And sign the contract.

what gives you the idea i give a damn about Joshua or hold him in esteem??? He is in the same class as Fury and Wilder, just has a minutely better resume.

Take it easy fen, we're all keyboard warriors here.

What gave me the idea is that among top HWs you picked out Fury & WIlder, esp. Fury. Along with Usyk most people consider AJ a top 4-5 HW. I'm not a mind reader like some on here think they are. So I used AJ to apply the same standards you applied to Fury & Wilder. And it's easy to do. There are strong similarities in AJs resume to Fury & Wilder. I wasn't necessarily disagreeing w/ you in kind more in degree.

Besides the decrepit old men crack, you posted Both Wilder and Fury have a lot to prove and very little time left to do it. I disagree that they have a "lot" to prove, but sure they need to get in a few more big fights before they retire. Ofc I agree they're running out of time, but that too applies to other top 10 HWs, Joyce & ZZ are prime examples.

Most of my post showed how you can apply the same criticism to AJ. I slammed AJ more than you. I can do the same to other top 10 HWs. I could do the same to the top 10 HWs in the 1970s or any era. Before this reply I wrote a post about how negative so many people are to current top 10, even top 5 HWs. Just like you were. Anyway you overreacted. Maybe some decaff would help? But that's the way many people are on sports forums. In real life - not their imagination - most people are meek near nobodies. They get a kick out of trashing men that make much more $ than them and are real warriors. In an anonymous forum they can live out what they are in their imagination - a badass tough guy !

i didn't overreact, i didn't even get mad. somehow you equate a couple extra question marks with unbridled rage and internet tough guy stunts? sorry, but Fury, Wilder, Joshua and the rest do have iffy resumes, at best. fighting less than once a year against the softest opponents you can get away with will do that.

AJ stated in the mirror newspaper that he doesn`t care about te Wilder fight and that nobody will remember him beating Wilder in ten years and the he doesn`t care what people think, he just wants enough money for his inner circle to be well off and to have his health after he retires at around the around the age of 35.

Most people overact in sports forums. I've been doing this for a while. I just thought you could've responded a bit more congenially.
I have no idea what you thought of AJ. My response was based on AJ deserving as much criticism as Fury or Wilder. Nothing more or less.

During the past 4-5 years the accomplishments of all 3 are rather thin given their high ranking among HWs. Fury's 2-0 vs Wilder tops the other two. Almost funny is that Wilder's 2 losses to Fury tops his quick KO of past it Helenius. AJ? He's 0-2 vs Usyk. His biggest name wins are vs. olden Helenius, past sale date Pulev back in Dec '20 and more obese than usual :hambre: Andy in Dec '19. Not sorry but beating Franklin rates about as high as Fury's unnecessary 3rd win over Chisora. Among theses 3 HWs AJ might be #3 although close to Wilder. If AJ can beat Wilder then ofc he moves above DW. Presently, most here are picking DW. Just to be clear this last paragraph isn't aimed at you, just adding my views on this general topic.
