Do people understand why Joshua is ducking Wilder now?

Ortiz nearly had him out of there in round 7, one more punch would of done it.

Now swap Ortiz with Joshua, with Wilder hurt and on pogo legs.

tell me how Wilder doesn't die in that round.

Props to Wilder for finally stepping up and facing decent opposition. I am far from an AJ nuthugger, but this whole Joshua ducking Wilder is an absolute joke, lets look at the facts:

    1) Wilder and his team have made zero offers to fight

    2) Wilder claims AJ has been "ducking him for 3 years". Joshua turned pro in 2013, 3 years ago today he was a 10-0 prospect. Is he really supposed to be taking a fight with Wilder at that stage?

    3) Wilder has had 7 defences of his WBC belt yet, has made absolutely no attempts to unify (despite talking about wanting all the belts constantly). Parker will be Joshua's 5 defence and already 2nd unification fight

    4) Wilder is making ludicrous financial demands, asking for 50-50 split despite AJ routinely taking purses >10x what he does

I am sure there are others, but lets be real here. This fight must and will happen, but to claim that 'ducking' is going on here is a pretty ridiculous claim...

Joshua is the money maker in the Heavys at present as his purses have shown, so anyone facing him will get a better purse than fighting some other Heavy.

This is pro boxing it is at end of the day all about the money, you call it ducking the moneymen call it building the fight.

Fact is you can walk down any street in the UK and majority of folk would not even know who Wilder is, so unless some American promoter puts up a out of this world purse, the UK is where the big purse money is courtesy of Joshua, and Wilder will if he wishes to fight be taking the smaller purse.

That aside Wilder did good last night, with that ko power he would be a threat to any Heavyweight, fact.

How disrespectful of Finkel to try and go around Eddie Hearn in an attempt to play Barry and Eddie off against each other, simply the act of a creep.

So Wilder gets a half decent win and they’re empowered again and start running their game asking Eddie to put a deal together, why don’t Wilders handlers put the money up!

Also, he mentions late November to make it sound like it was so long ago when in fact it’s around 3 months ago. Lots has been happening since then, Wilder signed to fight Ortiz and Joshua signed to fight Parker to name but two major distractions from Wilder v Joshua.

I can’t help but come back to why Wilders team don’t go out and get the TV deal, venue and money backers sorted out themselves then put a certified and reasonable offer on the table to fight Joshua? Why is it Matchrooms responsibility to do this?

They’re hypocrites, they slag Matchroom off for not sorting a deal out but where is their deal what have they done other than double talk on social media.

Finally, we know they won’t accept a reasonable split and are demanding 50/50!
Convert that to money and they’re demanding Joshua take a purse which is maybe £10Million lower than normal while Wilder gets £10Million more, how can that be anything other than so unreasonable that it’s a duck, plain and simple!

If Parker is so poor then why didn’t Wilder go take his World Title belt off him and give himself more credibility, more status and more bargaining power?

If Joshua fights Miller after Parker (assuming he wins that) it's an official duck.

Eh, cause Parker is getting a few million for his troubles vs Femi, not $500k.

Because Parker wanted absolutely nothing to do with Wilder? I don't blame him. He losses to both Joshua and Wilder. He gets paid more against Joshua. This is life changing money.

There’s been plenty of time and Wilders had numerous non-mandatory defences during Parker’s reign so no excuses for Wilder not at least trying to get that fight.

Do you genuinely believe that Parker is better than Ortiz? hahahahaha. Parker wouldn't even beat Jennings.

Except pbf didnt duck pac. Pac pulled out of talks to fight clottey because he didn't want random blood testing. Roach has gone on record saying this and a video of him saying this has been posted numerous times. Stop spreading this myth

You’re getting caught up on the split rather than looking at the money!

How can offering a fighter a purse that’s at least 5X their previous biggest ever be described as “insulting”

I’ve made no comparison whatsoever between Ortiz and Parker so what are you talking about!

Maybe you should read the thread before displaying your stupidity for the world to see.
