I think Wilder's win over Ortiz was more impressive than AJ's over Klitschko

Eddie probably wants AJ / Wilder in 2020. At least when Fury beats AJ, he won't hurt him.

My bad how old was he again? 43? And a 2 year lay off? My bad.. beating a 43 year old coming off a 12 round schooling and a 2 year lay off is a great win.

The amount people claim fighters are ducking is just ridiculous. Neither Wilder nor Joshua are ducking each other.
Joshua is a champion about to fight for another belt having just fought the top HW of the past decade.
Wilder has just fought the toughest belt-less heavyweight.
Joshua has to have his fight against a Champ and then will likely fight a mandatory in Povetkin, before a showdown will be agreed as the only and best option for all parties.
Joshua will rightly take the larger % and the only sticking point will be Wilders ego. One thing is clear, Joshua is getting paid big and is happy to give some away to put on an event, the idea that he'd say no is ridiculous. The fact will remain Wilder does not and will not deserve 50%.

Good fight but to be honest neither man has beaten anyone of note.

Joshua will just wait until Wilder is past prime and then he will fight and beat him. He learned that trick from Mayweather!

You mean like when Roach confirmed that it was their fault the fight wasn't made in 2009/2010. You mean like when Pac finally decided to fight Mayweather after he looked bad against Maidana?

I think you are seeking the narrative that Joshua is avoiding Wilder. If anything that performance from Wilder made Eddie and Joshua even more excited to fight Wilder.

Of course the power is and has always been something they knew had to be respected, but the skills or lack there of was reinforced. Joshua also has a lot of power, not as explosive as Wilder but Joshua is a lot more technically sound and has an advantage from a skills perspective.

I believe Wilder and Joshua want this fight and Eddie is salivating thinking about the money this will generate for his promotional company. At the end of the day, Wilder needs to call Eddie so real negotiations can begin. His method thus far has been like Wilder is just spinning his wheels by attempting to make the fight through the media. That’s not how fights are negotiated and he should know that by now.

Hopefully he saw Eddies interview on Fighthype the other day telling him to make it simple and just call him directly and stop barking to the media and on Social media to somehow negotiate this fight

It's on record that this is the plan from matchroom.

Here's the quotes from AJ saying he wants t wait until 2020 to fight Wilder and doesn't want to rush

Great breakdown exposing the double standards, the cowardice and hypocrisy

This is a quote from a few months ago from Joshua when pressed on whether he will fight Wilder in 2018

Now I want you dumb AJ fanboys to tell me if this sounds like a man who is desperate to fight or is looking for a way out to delay the inevitable?

Why would Joshua duck Wilder? Wilder is cut to order for him. What he might be ducking is the 50-50 demand though.

I started boxing 2010, Wilder turned pro 2009, so he’s been a pro one year longer than my whole career,” the IBF and WBA champion told Sky Sports.

“So you can see why they’re rushing him for certain reasons and you can see why I’m taking my time for certain reasons.

“The fights are there, but as I say I’m going to do it in my own time when I feel ready
