    Larry Merchant entertains himself.

    It's sort of a "respect your elders" thing with him.

    I don't think Jim Lampley know much about boxing either, he just likes the "cutest" fighter.

    Jim Gray asks the tough questions. But he doesnt have FEUDS with individual fighters. Jim Gray didnt treat james toney any different then he treated evander holyfield.

    Merchant is awesome and i enjoy watching him because he doesnt sugar coat anything, asks the real questions and wont take **** from fighters, no matter how awesome they think they are. I really like Max Kellerman, even though most hate him, but there is no way he can fill the void that Larry will leave.

    I prefer annoucers who are better arse kissers to their fighters.
    For example it could be rare (prior to the Klitschko fight) for anyone to say anything negative thing about David Haye in the media.
