    The only reason that was tolerated by HBO is because its boxing and viewed as being somewhat of a circus act. I guarantee you if that was any other sport on any other network the reporter would have already been fired. I said floyd looked like a jackass, if you cant see how merchant looked like a jackass as well there is no use arguing with you but I would say you are the one who needs a more realistic perspective. Did I enjoy watching it? Yes, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a poor showing on both side of the coin. Look how jim grey reacted to james toney going off like a nutjob, he just sat there and took it and looked like the bigger man in the end for it. Instead larry acted every bit as immature and out of touch with reality as floyd did. The mans act is tired and he needs to go. I'm sick of listening to him ramble on incoherently making stupid points and shitting all over every fighter who doesn't defend with their face. The show isn't about him.

    I like Merchant because he asks the tough questions, instead of kissing ass. It is entertaining. Though I was annoyed with him as well during the fight, since I felt Pretty Boy was in his full rights to KO the quitter Ortiz. Not only did Merchant ask Floyd a tough question. He harped on even though Floyd had given him a straight answer.

    Merchant asked Floyd absolutely justified questions in a polite manner. And Mayweather acted like a touchy 12 year old girl insulting him in front of million people on the TV.
