Do people writing off Shane Mosley's chances vs Pac not realize that by doing so...

...they are saying that Manny Pacquiao either has a better defence than Floyd Mayweather, or are saying that Manny Pacquiao has equally good defensive instincts and abilities when hurt than Floyd Mayweather does? :huh

Sugar Shane & Nazim worked out a punch combination which would pick the Mayweather lock... and it did. Twice. And it was only a combination of the older Shane's toothlessness and Floyd's natural defensive mindset and survival instinct that prevented a stoppage. (of course, thereafter Floyd adapted and Shane couldn't work out another way to pick the lock)

If someone writes off Shane Mosley completely in the Pacquiao fight, they are either saying that Shane is not going to be able to land a shot on Pac the way he did on Floyd (thereby stating that Manny's defence is superior), or they are saying that Manny is going to be able to smother Shane's attempts to finish and ride out the storm by nullifying attacks after he gets hit, the same way that Floyd did - which is it??? :think

Conclusion: It's silly to write Shane off completely in this fight. :deal

It's a BS fight IMO, however, Mosley will land on Pac quite a bit, due to styles, I agree.

didn't you post this early and it got taken down by the admins because you were full of ****? :rofl

You didn't learn your lesson before.

Yeah I did, because it isn't being taken down now - :patsch

The only difference was that before I used the word "*****" in the title, I assume that's not permitted anymore. Otherwise, the thread is still the same.

Anyway gimp, do you have an opinion on Mosley's chances of landing on Pac and doing damage, or are you just trolling as usual?

The only troll here is you. Wasting board space.

And yes I have an opinion.

Mosley has a punchers chance. The only way pac loses to this current version of mosley is if he gets caught with a good shot. Other than that mosley has no chance in making this fight competitive or winning a decision.

I would also like to add that the fear factor mosley had after knocking out margarito was laid to bed after mayweather schooled him for 10 rounds in succession.

Shane had a good 2nd round then took a beating in the next 10 or 22. He gassed vs. Floyd and looked shot vs. a terribly weight drained Mora. You can't write any fighter off especially Shane, but it's still a bull**** fight. There's a reason it's happening now not 18 months ago.

I agree. He has a puncher's chance. He shouldn't be written off completely.

I give Mosley a good puncher's chance especially in the early rounds.

Floyd fought a drained no epo, no balco, and no steroid version of mosley. He's the only person who asked for OSDT from Mosley. Margo fought a PEDed Mosley. Remember EPO is among the most effective performance enhancers—markedly improving aerobic capacity for endurance athletes. This is evident after round 2 when he gassed with his mouth wide open. The version Pac will fight will be PEDed up. Now I know the *****s will say Pac is PEDed up, even if he is PEDed up Pac still is fighting a better version of PEDed Mosley compare to floyds blood drained and no PED version of mosley. You have to give credit to Delahoya for fighting and almost winning a young, prime, PEDed version of mosley.

woudlnt ever totally write shane off,but as i fan of his i except that he doesnt deal well with fast punchers who have good movement, just watch cotto boxing his ears off in part in their fight.

Shane tries too much with power aswell, and ignores his speed and combinations,he will be chasing and looking for that one knockout combination, but pac will be busy as hell, putting the combinations on him at a furious pace and giving him so many angles he wont be able to prepare for.

I do hope shane puts up some kind of decent effort, isnt shot as in he cant pull the trigger, and can go on and beat the more mortal boxers who are not pac or floyd.

I dont think so I think we can all agree that Mosley showed his age in his last few fights, Mayweather and Mora.... and showed it in the Mayorga fight as well...

I dont think its a bad thing when someone points out the truth.. Shane is old, and I beleive Pac is going to slice him to bits....

You do realize if pac fought shane before floyd did, so that would have been shane who had defeated margarito, shane would have been the biggest win on pac's WW resume

    You see the irony pacfart.

actually no. i would rate cotto as the bigger win since shane was inactive by more than a year already. besides that cotto has a win over mosley himself. finally, i would decide on the opponents performance. cotto looks to have posed more of a challenge for pac compared to the mosley who fought floyd.
