He didn't have the heart to seek out challenges he feels would be difficult therefore I can't help but question his desire for when the going gets tough.
your right Shane Mosley hes not.. but look at where being like Shane Mosley got Shane at.. and where Floyds personality has gotten him at .. think about it..
I don't really like Floyd but he seems to be getting underrated now that he has retired. I think a lot of people confuse "ducking" with being too much of an arrogant turd to consider them worthy
He considered Judah worthy despite him not holding any belts (as far as I remember, don't quote me on that). Of course, when Cotto decimates Judah, Judah is suddenly only a gatekeeper. It's not as if PBF put on a career-shortening beating on Judah, is it?
Mosley is still a top player at 147. PBF is.....retired and considered chicken **** by a lot of boxing fans (a bit unfairly). To be honest, I'd rather be Mosley.
Do you realize how many excuses you made for him in that post. Floyd is not as great as you think he is. Great at 130, so-so @ 135, mediocre runs from 140-154! DLH's resume/accomplishments> floyds:deal
I really wanted to try and avoid bein' anything remotely close to abrasive on a site I've grown to love, but I'm growin' really sick of all this Mayweather Bull****. He's gone and I pray he stayz gone. Let us consider Naz and himself, shall we? Naz, like Malignaggi, is a showman that serves as entertainment yet looks rather transparent. Not only can I handle that, I consider it necassary for this sport to a degree in terms of hightening fight prospect n' such. But Floyd was just plain excrutiating and power-abrasive. His mouth made me sick in that, unlike Naz and Malignaggi, looked very sincere n' spitefull. **** that *****. Stay up on Tioga Ln. for the remainder of your life, Floyd. And the sad part, or one of which about this, Mayweather used to be a really good kid. Hey, don't take my word for it, watch some of his old fights when his daddy was in his corner.
It doesnt at all. just makes this nut hugger look like he knows something about the sport. After what i just seen today i feel PBF will be staying retired if he had to fight either Cotto or Margarito at 147. He'd probably lose. PBF for me has always since leaving 135 taking an easier option because he is afraid of one thing that warriors like AM and Cotto are not afraid of. And thats having a loss on his record.
I do know something about the sport. I recognize stlyes in the ring and fighters demeanors and their attitude inthe ring. I recognize physical and athletic talent and defense and offense and mentality overall.. and hes not afraid of that in my opinion... I dont think anybody really knows the real Floyd.. :deal
