cause I remember a few people claiming this prior to their fight, which is something I have never subscribed to personally, but what are your thoughts on this?

I think Haye loses to Sanders and to Brewster.

I think he beats most of the others , but absolutely not in the same onesided manner.

I wouldnt be suprised if he lost to a Mcline type also , just too big.

Difference I think he knocks out Ibragimov and Chagaev - awful fighters , way way to easy to hit , cannot believe these two actually held belts at one point.

Yes still think Haye could beat most of the guys Wlads beat there is no one that good on the list Haye would be odds on against all of them.

I have a hard time believing someone with Haye's chin could reign against that many HW's, and not get rail roaded once, twice, or even 3 times.

I think he'd lose to Sanders, McCline, Brock, Peter, and Mercer. It would be a toss-up if he fought Byrd.

Good point. :good Just like Wlad, Haye would at least get knocked down and knocked out if he fought many years like Wlad.

sanders took advantage of the many mistakes that wlad did back in those days.. he wouldn't be able to do that with haye. i see a straight forward victory for haye in about 4 to 7 rounds.

mcCline??:lol: he has the size, but nothing else. stoppage for haye late in the fight.

brock?? this is becoming a joke now! haye knocks him out in about 3 to 4 rounds.

mercer at that time was shot, but he still had a solid beard. late stoppage or points win for haye. he takes every round. if it was mercer in his prime, he would knock haye out at some point. he would do the same to wlad as well.

peter is far too slow! haye would outbox him very easily. either a late stoppage or wide points win for haye.

the only one a give a chance to is ibragimov.. wlad was far too big for him. haye would be more to his liking.

brewster, sanders, peter do not beat haye. haye wouldn't stop chris byrd in four either. if it was a stoppage it would be late. i see haye winning that one on points, though.
